TopLeft Improvements - April-May 2026
TopLeft shipped a range of improvements in April and May 2026, with a focus on time entry accuracy, Gantt and capacity planning, and board filtering across ConnectWise, Autotask, and HaloPSA integrations.
General Improvements
Gantt "Today" Line
Gantt charts in the new interface now offer an option to draw a vertical line marking today's date, making it easy to see where current work sits against the schedule.
Gantt and Capacity Planning Legend
A legend now appears on Gantt charts and capacity planning, explaining what the taskbar colours mean and which dates each bar represents.
Capacity Planning Options Refresh
Visualization options moved from the bottom of the capacity planner up to the button bar to save space and stay prominent, and your choices are now saved per view and reapplied the next time you open it.
Region-Aware Dates
Gantt charts and capacity planning now format dates according to your locale, so dates appear as MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY as appropriate rather than a single fixed format.
Timer in the Fullscreen Editor
The timer now works inside the fullscreen editor and stays in sync across the nav menu and any other open editors for the same ticket within your browser.
View Editing Preview Accuracy
The record preview and preview count now take team, team-member filtering, and unassigned record visibility into account, giving a more accurate representation of what a view will show.
Fewer Unexpected Logouts
Sessions now refresh on every request, so you're no longer logged out at inconvenient times.
ConnectWise Improvements
Board and Team Filtering
ConnectWise board filters and team member matching now work correctly together, so groups and cards respect all of your filter rules as expected.
Automatic Lists Setting
A new account option lets you disable the rich text editor's automatic lists when typing *, -, or 1., while keeping the toolbar list button and existing lists fully functional.
Cleaner ConnectWise Standard Notes
Backslashes that previously appeared before periods in synced ConnectWise standard notes have been removed.
Autotask Improvements
Autotask Overnight Time Entries
The new interface now handles overnight Autotask time entries automatically, correctly calculating duration when an end time falls before the start time.
Autotask HH:MM Time Entries
Creating and editing Autotask time entries now works correctly when HH:MM mode is enabled in your account settings.
Autotask Roles in Time Entries
The role dropdown for Autotask time entries in the new interface now includes both department-based and service desk roles, so every valid role appears.
HaloPSA Improvements
HaloPSA Time Editing
The Halo "time taken" field now updates correctly in HH:MM display mode, and the unsaved-entry prompt uses clearer button wording ("Dismiss unsaved entry").
